The 44th annual Northeast Ohio Photography Show at the Canton Jewish Community Center will run from Feb. 5 through Feb. 25. The Jewish Center, at 2631 Harvard Ave. NW, is open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
A special preview for entrants, sponsors, patrons and donors will take place at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 4.
The show, sponsored by the late Dr. Samuel S. and Celia G. Reinglass, will run through Feb. 25.

The Malone University School of Arts and Sciences – Departments of Art and Music will host a Discover Day for high school students Monday, February 15 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Johnson Center for Worship and the Fine Arts, located at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton. Your children can learn to swim at Massillon Recreation Center. The City of Massillon Parks and Recreation Department has a new session of weekday swim lessons beginning the week of February 8 at the Massillon Recreation Center. There are morning and evening classes available on Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays. Classes are for ages 6 months and up. Our classes are taught by certified instructors.

Burlington Coat Factory at 4790 Everhard Rd. NW is collecting monetary donations to support the American Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development Fund.
Donations will be accepted through Feb. 17. All Burlington Coat Factory locations will accept donations to the fund.
Assistance provided by the American Red Cross may include sending relief supplies, mobilizing relief workers and providing financial resources.
Through the Help Haiti campaign, Westfield Belden Village mall is serving as a donation collection site for Convoy of Hope Charities. Donations can be made at the Concierge Center in the north wing. Proceeds are transferred directly to those in need.
Convoy of Hope is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that already has an emergency command center operating just outside of the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince and is distributing water and supplies to victims of the earthquake.
Every Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. there will be a free blood pressure clinic at Summit's Trace of Greater Canton Independent Living Dining Room, at 820 34th St. NW in Canton.
The agency providing the blood pressure service is Advantage Home Health Services.
This service is free to anyone in the community and at Summit's Trace of Greater Canton.

Mercy Medical Center now offers a weekly breastfeeding support group open to all breastfeeding women and their babies. This free program, entitled the Breastfeeding Mothers Support Group, is held every Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. inside the Mercy Childbirth Education Room in Mercy Hall.
Led by Regina Ravine, RN, IBCLC, Certified Lactation Consultant for Mercy Medical Center, this support group offers weekly baby weight checks, a question and answer session about breastfeeding challenges, as well as networking with other breastfeeding moms.

Michael Strahan, whose uncle battled chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), is driving across the country as part of the DRIVE4COPD campaign to raise awareness of this disease and find the 12 million people who may have COPD but don’t know it.
More than 24 million Americans have COPD.
Meet Michael Strahan at the free Pit Stop event in Cleveland from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 15 at Great Lakes Mall in Mentor. Receive free giveaways, and take a five-question screening quiz to determine your risk for COPD.

A tai chi class takes place every Monday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Merging Hearts Holistic Center. Tai chi is a Chinese martial art believed to facilitate the flow of qi (life force) in the body, promoting good health and vitality.
Cost is $30 for four classes or $10 per class.

A qi gong class will take place on the last two Mondays of February, the 15th and 22nd, and the last two Thursdays of February, the 18th and 25th, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Chen Acupuncture Health Center at 2405 Fulton Rd. NW in Canton.
Qi gong is a traditional Chinese exercise system. It has been practiced for several thousand years in China as a "medical keep fit" activity to maintain health, heal the body, calm the mind and reconnect with one’s spirit.
Qi gong is an art and skill to train the "qi," which creates a balanced lifestyle.
