The Celtic Club is sponsoring the St. Pet’s Day food donation drive from March 8 through March 17.
Residents can donate dry dog and cat food and cat litter at their local fire station, in most cases, March 8 through March 12, and March 15 through March 17 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Donations also can be dropped off in the front lobby of the Repository.
Donations will benefit local humane and pet rescue groups.
Drop-off sites include:
• Alliance fire station, 63 E. Broadway St.
• Canal Fulton fire station (March 15 through March 17), 1165 Locust St. NW.
The Lil’ Lambs Closet Spring/Summer Sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. March 12 and 8 a.m. to noon March 13 at Church of the Lakes United Methodist, at 5944 Fulton Dr. NW in Jackson Township.
Lil’ Lambs Closet is a consignment sale featuring gently used children’s clothing in excellent condition, toys, games, books, baby equipment, nursery furniture and maternity clothing.
After consignors are paid, the remaining proceeds are donated to local organizations and charities that assist children and families in need.

Stark Parks' annual FREE Pond Clinic will be from 9 a.m. to Noon at the Exploration Gateway, 5712 12th St NW, in Perry Township. The program will focus on ponds that are larger than a half acre and used primarily for fishing. Main topics will include the following: Site selection, including possible zoning and drainage issues; construction and costs,fish stocking selections, managing fish populations,
aquatic vegetation control, and nuisance species concerns associated with pond or lake habitats. Designed for an adult audience. Reservations required.

This exhibit concentrates on the extremely important, but nonpolitical role that First Ladies play in international diplomatic relationships for our country. “The Unguarded Moment,” a retrospective exhibit of 50 photos by Steve McCurry, is on view from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays Feb. 6 through April 2 at the Joseph Saxton Gallery of Photography, at 520 Cleveland Ave. NW in downtown Canton.

Rodman Library will hold a make-and-take card class in March using basic techniques for rubber stamping and scrapbooking. Projects will be demonstrated in this class using the “smackin’ acetate” technique.
The class will be open to adults and teens. It will be held on Saturday, March 13, at 1 p.m. in the Main Library Auditorium.
There will be a fee of $5 per person for material cost. Registration is required by Wednesday, March 10, and the fee must be paid at the time of registration.

The Zoar Volunteer Fire Department will hold an all-you-can-eat Spaghetti and Meatball Dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. March 13 at the fire station at 190 E. Fifth St.
The meal includes spaghetti and meatballs with the fire department’s Four Alarm Hot Sauce, plus salad, dinner rolls, dessert and beverage.
