The Celtic Club is sponsoring the St. Pet’s Day food donation drive from March 8 through March 17.

Residents can donate dry dog and cat food and cat litter at their local fire station, in most cases, March 8 through March 12, and March 15 through March 17 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Donations also can be dropped off in the front lobby of the Repository.

Donations will benefit local humane and pet rescue groups.

Drop-off sites include:

• Alliance fire station, 63 E. Broadway St.
• Canal Fulton fire station (March 15 through March 17), 1165 Locust St. NW.

The Olde Stark Antique Fair will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 13 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 14 in the Exhibition Building at the Stark County Fairgrounds at 305 Wertz Ave. NW in Canton.
The large indoor show will feature more than 100 dealers and collectors.

The vocal group New Vision, from Malone University, will sing during worship service from 10 to 11:15 a.m. March 14 at McDonaldsville St. Paul United Methodist Church.
The ministry team of six college students will perform a selection of songs including gospel, contemporary Christian, hymns, and patriotic favorites.
Child care and nursery programs also will be provided.
The church is at 7641 Wales Ave. NW in Jackson Township between Portage and Strausser streets.

Nationally renowned jewelry artists and exhibitors will present at GemStreet USA Show & Sale on March 12-14 at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea.
The show offers an eclectic array of faceted gemstones, crystals, pearls, beads, silver, gold, pewter, copper, petrified wood and unique jewelry using beadwork techniques, wire wrapping and sculpting.
People who make their own jewelry can find an array of beading supplies, tools and educational materials.
Plus, an eclectic host of rare fossils and minerals will appeal to both novice and serious collectors.

Wilmot Fire & Rescue will hold an All-You-Can-Eat Ham Dinner fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 14 at the fire hall at 204 Mill St.
The menu includes scalloped potatoes, green beans, applesauce, coleslaw, dinner rolls, a slice of pie and beverage, served family style. Carryout will be available; call (330) 359-5995.
Cost is $8, $4 for children age 4 through 10 and free for children 3 and younger.
Church groups are welcome.
All proceeds will benefit Wilmot Fire & Rescue, a volunteer department.

Bayard Grange scheduled its March chicken dinner
for Sunday the 14th from 11:30 until 2:00.
The menu includes choice of creamed chicken

It's Canton's 8th Annual St. Baldrick’s Foundation Head-Shaving Event! Men and women are expected to shave their heads bald to show solidarity with children fighting cancer and to raise money for childhood cancer research. “Shavees” will be enthusiastically cheered on by crowds of friends, families, doctors, nurses, children, and others who have been touched by cancer. Support, donate, buy raffle tickets, shop the silent auction items or just come in and eat. 10% of all food sold between 1 & 5 will be donated by the Quaker Steak and Lube.

Get in the water and get a great workout while having fun and competing in this high-energy water sport. The Massillon Parks and Recreation Department is offering Water Polo at the Massillon City School Pool. Ages 12-15 will play 1:00-2:30 pm and ages 16 and over will play 2:45-4:15 pm. Water Polo is a challenging water sport played between two teams who try to throw a ball into the opponent’s goal. Sounds easy? Here’s the catch: you cannot touch the sides or bottom of the pool for extended periods of time during the game.

Enjoy an event full of music and fun at the Massillon Lions Club’s 67th Annual Show, “On the Air,” at the historic Lions Lincoln Theatre, 156 Lincoln Way East in downtown Massillon. "On the Air" is an old-time radio and television theme: chorus, solos, ensembles, skits, comedy, and dance. Show starts at 2:00 p.m. $7 per ticket. Spring Thing, an indoors "carnival" type fundraiser, will happen from 2 to 5 p.m. March 14 at Center Ice Complex at 8319 Port Jackson Ave. NW in Jackson Township.
This fundraiser to help support Trillium Family Solutions is inexpensive, family-oriented fun, fitting for the state of the economy.
Some of the activities will be skating, face painting, caricaturists, inflatable castle, "beauty parlor,” a money machine, cake walk, and food concessions.
Cost for the event is $6 in advance or $7 at the door. Admission includes skate rental, skating, games and most of the activities.
