The McKinley Kennel Club will host two all-breed dog shows from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 12 and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 13 at the Stark County Fairgrounds. The events also will feature two obedience trials and two rally trials. More than 500 dogs from the United States and Canada are expected to participate.
One week course in iconography is offered at St. George Romanian Catholic Cathedral starting August 1. All techniques and supplies provided to complete a hand painted icon. Three Rivers Fire District and Coshocton County Agriculture Society will sponsor a Rough Truck Contest at Coshocton County Fairgrounds on July 17. Gates will open at 5 p.m.; the contest will be at 7. Admission is $5. Driver registration is $20; extra pit passes are $10.
Proceeds will benefit the TRFD Firefighters Association equipment purchases.
