The Berkley Fishing Team and Stark Parks have teamed up to provide a FREE fishing derby for children during the annual Sandy & Beaver Canal Days Festival in Magnolia. Prizes galore, and trophies for both boys and girls in three age groups are given. This annual derby is for children 5-15 years old. PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED from 8-9 a.m.
Join a group of children to save an owl habitat from destruction on a big outdoor movie screen overlooking Sippo Lake. Movie begins at dusk; bring your own lawn chair or blanket. Fish by the light of the moon at Sippo Lake Park, 5300 Tyner St NW, Canton. Registration begins at 5 p.m. with fishing from 6 p.m. to midnight. Must show valid Ohio fishing license if 16 or older. This Srak Parks class provides a thorough description of volunteer tasks at Sanders Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and is required for all volunteers. National MS Society, Ohio Buckeye Chapter fundraiser. An evening of exotic wine, decadent chocolate and wild animals at the Cleveland Zoo.
