Black History Month Tee Off at the Libary

Meet author and illustrator Richard Michelson and Eric Velasquz at this event honoring William J. Powell, the founder and constructor of Clearview Golf Course, the only course designed, built and owned by a African American in the United States. They will talk about their book Twice as Good about Mr. Powell. Also meet Renee Powell, PGA/LPGA golfer and learn about growing up on her own golf course. Play putt-putt golf in the library, and get a copy of your book signed by the author and illustrator. Proceeds of book sales will support the Clearview Foundation.
