The Wines of Italy

Oct. 15: 7 to 9 p.m., with Andy Codispoti; taught at Gervasi Vineyard, 1700 55th St. NE, Canton; www.gervasivineyard.com; $50. The class will consider the major Italian grape varieties and the wines they produce. The key focus will be on the regions of Piedmont and Tuscany with visuals of the magnificent vineyard-laden slopes.
