The 16th Annual HBA Akron Home and Flower Show, presented by WindowPro & Marvin Windows & Doors, is set for Feb. 26 to Feb. 28 at the John S. Knight Center in Akron.
Ahmed Hassan, celebrity landscaper and TV host with “For the Love of Landscaping,” will headline the show on the Freedom Design/KraftMaid Main Stage Feb. 27 and Feb. 28. Also appearing all weekend is remodeling guru Steven Katkowsky, who will give ideas on how to revamp bathrooms and kitchens. In addition, the show features more flowers and gardens, the WONE Ultimate Backyard makeover with a prize package valued at over $20,000, hundreds of exhibits and vendors and the EcoVillage Experience.
Family Day is Feb. 26, with the Akron Aeros mascot appearing from 1:30 to 2:30 and live music at 6 p.m. Children 17 and younger are admitted free, and more activities and attractions are planned for the day.
Admission is $8 for adults and free for children 12 and younger accompanied by an adult. Tickets are available online for $7 at www.AkronHomeandFlowerShow.com. Discount coupons are available at area Petitti Garden Center locations and through the show Web site.
Show hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Feb. 26 and Feb. 27, and 11 to 6 p.m. Feb. 28.
