Are You Being Watched? ACLU Explores Government Use of Technology to Invade Privacy

The American Civil Liberties Union of Ohio presents “Cyber Invaders: The Government’s Use of Technology to Invade Privacy” from noon to 1 p.m. July 15 at the Max Wohl Civil Liberties Center at 4506 Chester Ave. in Cleveland.
Raymond Ku, professor and co-director of the Center for Law, Technology, and the Arts at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Law, will discuss the role of new technologies in government intelligence programs — and legislative efforts to conceal, authorize, and immunize executive actions that violate privacy rights.
The series is free and open to the public. Participants are invited to bring their lunches. Drinks and desserts will be provided.
To RSVP, call (216) 472-2220 or e-mail contact@acluohio.org.
The Brown Bag Lecture Series is a component of the ACLU summer internship program.
