TWC’s Woodcarving Club is offering a Beginning Carving Course of 4 sessions for beginner carvers or wanna-bes. Bob Raber of the Club will be the Lead Instructor. Covers the basics of knife carving while each student carves a Santa Claus in the round. Each student will receive a carving knife, thumb guard, and information about the nature of wood, sources of wood and tools, and publications on carving. Sessions follow Club meetings; students are invited to attend the meeting. $20/member; $25/nonmember includes 8 hours of instruction, a carving knife, and other materials.
