Blood drive

Friends and family of Lee Samblanet, who died of a rare cancer in 2007, have organized their annual blood drive in tribute to him.

The drive will take place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 11 at Alliance Community Hospital.

Donors must be at least 17 years of age, or 16 if they provide a permission slip from a parent or guardian. Donors must weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health. A photo ID or donor card must be presented at the time of the donation.

Alliance Grinders Above and Beyond is supporting the drive by providing savings coupons for their restaurant to all donors.
