The Canton Farmers Market takes place from 8 to 11:30 a.m. every Saturday from June 20 through Oct. 17, rain or shine, in downtown Canton in the lot on Cleveland Avenue NW between Fourth and Fifth Streets. There are 23 local vendors, 12 of which are new this year.
The market offers produce, natural meats, eggs, honey, fresh cut flowers and plants from local farmers, some certified organic. A wealth of other products includes local artisan specialties such as breads, cheeses and jams.
Canton Farmers Market also hosts weekly activities including gourmet cooking demonstrations, children’s art classes, organic gardening advice, art demonstrations and children’s library activities. These programs are free and open to the public.
