Golf outing to aid prostate cancer awareness foundation

The third annual Shamble at the Ridge, benefiting the One-In-Six Foundation, will be held July 27 at Sand Ridge Golf Club in Chardon. This year, the shotgun start will be at 9 a.m.
Continental breakfast will be offered, along with a full lunch when each golfer concludes his round. Each player also will receive gifts from Nike.
Entry fee is $200 per player if registered by June 20, $225 if registered after that. In acknowledgment of the current tough economy, the fee is $125 less than last year.
The mission of the One-In-Six Foundation is to spread awareness of the seriousness of prostate cancer to a broad audience.
Sand Ridge Golf Club is at 12150 Mayfield Rd. in Chardon.
