Golf scramble fundraiser for Ed Frank

A golf scramble fundraiser for Ed Frank, who is battling stage four follicular non-Hodgkins lymphoma, will take place July 10 at the Sanctuary Golf Club at 2017 Applegrove St. NW in North Canton.
Registration, with coffee and doughnuts, is from 8 to 8:30 a.m. The shotgun start is at 9 a.m. There will be food at the turn and dinner afterwards. There also will be door prizes, skill prizes, mulligans, a 50/50 drawing and more.
Cost is $75 per player, or $300 per foursome. Dinner only, at 2:30 p.m., is $30.

Ed has been advised by his oncologist to have a bone marrow transplant in Seattle at the Fred Hutchison Cancer Center. There are many expenses that will have to be taken care of, such as travel expenses, medications, and living expenses, not to mention that he will be receiving little to no income while he is in Seattle. He has been in and out of the hospital over the past few weeks.
