Greater Canton Writer’s Guild Monthly Presentation

Author and guild member Marilyn Tullys will speak on “Writing for the Joy of It” at the monthly meeting of the Greater Canton Writer’s Guild to be held on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the North canton Library, 185 N. Main St., N. Canton, OH.

Ms. Tullys is the author of numerous stories and articles for national magazines as well as curriculum published by the State of Ohio Department of Education where she received the Governor’s Educational Leadership Award from the State of Oho and a commendation from the Ohio House of representatives in 1992. She has served as president of Ohio Poetry Day and the Canton Branch of the American Association of University Women.

Visitors are always welcome. The Greater Canton Writer’s Guild was founded in 1964 to provide beginning and professional writers a venue for learning, exchange of ideas, manuscript critiques, and market information. The organization includes people of diverse backgrounds and talents who share a common commitment to the art of writing. Membership in the guild is $30.00 per year.
