Hearing screening

Affinity Medical Center will provide a free hearing screening from 1 to 3 p.m. July 17 in the Ambulatory Care Center on Affinity Medical Center’s Campus. The screenings will be conducted by Dr. Michael Barat.
The screening, open to the public, will be done by appointment. Call the Ambulatory Care Center at (330) 834-4796. Refreshments and literature will be provided.
Affinity is at 875 Eighth St. NE in Massillon.
According to the American Academy of Audiology, hearing loss is the third most significant, but treatable, health problem for American seniors, behind arthritis and hypertension.
