Home Gardening and Preserving workshop
Ohio State University Extension staff Melinda Hill and Ron Becker will start a three-part series, “Home Gardening and Preserving 101,” at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 25.
The first part will cover garden planning; the following sessions will cover planting (May 6 at 6:30 p.m.) and preserving the harvest (July 15 at 6:30 p.m.).
Cost for the series is $5 per session and $10 for the whole series for Local Roots members and $10 per session and $20 for the series for nonmembers. (Scholarships are available to those in need.)
All workshops will be held at Local Roots Market at 140 S. Walnut St. in Wooster.
