The Importance of Being Earnest- Jackson High School
Oscar Wilde's classic comedy, The Importance of Being Earnest , will be presented by the Jackson School for the Arts on Saturday, February 20th at 7:30pm and Sunday, February 21st at 2pm in the Jackson Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are $5 for students and $6 for adults. The comedy ridicules the foolish manners of the upper class of Victorian English society. The play tells the tale of two young men who manipulate the truth in order to escape family responsibilites and to impress the women they love. Chaos results from their elaborate web of lies and ultimately leads to some unexpected suprises. Everyone discover the “vital importance of being Earnest”.
