Mercy Medical Center of Tuscarawas County will offer low-cost blood screenings on Friday, March 12 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. The facility, located at 1031 West High Ave., New Philadelphia, will be offering total cholesterol screening for $2, glucose screening (blood sugar) for $2, and lipid profiles (total cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL and LDL) for $8.

No appointment is necessary and a 12-hour fast is recommended for more accurate results. For more information, contact the Mercy Health Center of Tuscarawas County at 330-365-5100. These low-cost blood screenings are offered the second Friday of each month. The Tuscarawas County facility boasts a STATCARE Immediate Care Center, Work Health & Safety Services, laboratory, physical therapy, cardiac diagnostics, bone density testing, and radiology/ultrasound services.
