Live from 92nd Street Y Jon Meacham and Fareed Zakaria
Watch and participate in the satellite broadcast of "Live from 92nd Street Y: at the Canton Jewish Community Center. The March 17, 2010 program features Jon Meacham, editor of Newsweek and Fareed Zakaria, editor of Newsweek International. They will discuss America's role in the world.
Program begins at 8 pm. Program is open to the public. $9 admission.
This is an interactive experience; audience members will have the chance during the live event, to submit questions to the speakers via email.
The satellite broadcast series "Live from NY's 92nd Street Y" now in its seventh year, brings lectures, interviews and readings from nationally and internationally recognized political figures, entertainers, newsmakers and authors to community organizations across America and Canada. Audiences in remote locations can take part in discussions with some of the world's most fascinating people.
Founded in 1874 by a group of visionary Jewish leaders, the 92nd Street Y has grown into a wide-ranging cultural, educational and community center serving people of all ages, races, faiths and backgrounds. The 92nd Street Y's mission is to enrich the lives of the over 300,000 people who visit in person each year as well as those who visit virtually throught he Y's satellite, television, radio and Internet broadcasts.
