Malone University Christian Recording Artist/Author/Speaker to Address Chapel - Workshops to follow

Popular Christian singer/songwriter-author-speaker John Fischer will address Malone University chapel services Tuesday, February 9 and Wednesday, February 10 at 10:30 a.m. in the Johnson Center for Worship and the Fine Arts, located at 2600 Cleveland Avenue in Canton.

In addition, he will be offering two workshops/discussion sessions on Tuesday, February 9 in room 112 of the Johnson Center. At 1:00 p.m., Mr. Fischer will be part of a panel discussion entitled, "The Current State of the Christian Musician: To Whom Do We Owe Our Allegiance?” Moderator will be Jack Ballard, Jr., Ph.D., associate professor of music. At 2:00 p.m., he will lead a workshop in songwriting, critiquing and utilizing pre-screened works by students and participants. The chapel service and workshops are free and open to the public.
