Matters of the Heart - Reducing your Risk Factors for Heart Disease
Heart disease is the nation's number one killer of people over the age of 45. Knowing the main risk factors for heart disease can help you take extra precautions. As part of American Heart Month, cardiologist, Amjad Iqbal, M.D., Medical Director of Satellite Cardiovascular Imaging Program at Mercy Medical Center, will present Matters of the Heart - Reducing your Risk Factors for Heart Disease on Wednesday, February 24 at 6 p.m. inside the Mercy Health Center of Tuscarawas County.
In this presentation, Dr. Iqbal will inform participants on how to control heart disease risk factors through diet, exercise, and healthy lifestyle changes. The event is free but reservations are requested. Light refreshments will be served and tours of the Cardiac Diagnostic area will be conducted.
