Mercy Offers Free Breastfeeding Support Group

Mercy Medical Center now offers a weekly breastfeeding support group open to all breastfeeding women and their babies. This free program, entitled the Breastfeeding Mothers Support Group, is held every Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. inside the Mercy Childbirth Education Room in Mercy Hall.

Led by Regina Ravine, RN, IBCLC, Certified Lactation Consultant for Mercy Medical Center, this support group offers weekly baby weight checks, a question and answer session about breastfeeding challenges, as well as networking with other breastfeeding moms.

The goal of this support group is to help new mothers meet their own personal breastfeeding goals while having a positive and rewarding experience. No reservations are necessary for the Breastfeeding Mothers Support Group. For more information, please call 330-580-4761.
