North Canton Rotary Chili Open Golf and Chili Eating Contest

Feb. 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., is a day to brave the elements for a brisk round of golf on our specially designed course, then enjoy all the food and drinks you can handle.
Then watch the professional and amateur chili eaters down chili until they burst to capture the fourth annual Midwest Chili Eating Championship, another attempt at raising the proverbial "Chili-Bar" during the Chili Eating Championship. The current world record of 10.5 lbs in five minutes is held by Freeport, Pa., native Bob "Killer" Kuhns.
According to All Pro Eating Chairman Arnie "Chowhound" Chapman, "The Mid West Chili Eating Championship is unequivocally America's premier Chili Eating contest. ... every year the world's best Chili Warriors battle and record huge numbers in their attempt to become Americas No. 1 Chili Connoisseur." According to former Champion and Columbus Ohio native, Mark "The Human Vacuum" Lyle.

All this takes place at The Fairways of North Canton, at 1500 Rogwin Cir. SW.
