Pasture renovation workshop

A Pasture Renovation for Grazing Operations workshop is planned for 6 p.m. March 25 at the Cliff Miller Farm, located at 1224 Andora Rd., Carrollton.

Those considering pasture renovation are invited to learn about different types of seed available and how to choose which seed is right for an operation. Council members will discuss the importance of soil testing to pasture renovation.

An on-farm no-till seeding demonstration will be featured. Seed company representatives will be on hand to provide presentations.

A social gathering will follow the workshop. Refreshments will be provided. Admission is free, but a free-will donation is encouraged.

Registration is required by March 19.

The workshop is presented by the Eastern Ohio Grazing Council in cooperation with Carroll, Columbiana, Harrison and Jefferson Soil and Water Conservation districts.
