Plain Township Bicentennial Parade and Festival

The centerpiece of Plain Township’s yearlong bicentennial celebration is July 18 with a parade and festival.
Festival events are:
11 a.m., parade along Middlebranch Avenue NE;
Noon, festival begins at Diamond Park;
1-4 p.m., Pets That Have Style contests at Diamond Park;
8 p.m., Ryan Humbert Band;
Dusk, fireworks display.

The parade will travel along Middlebranch Avenue NE from Edelweiss Street NE to Diamond Park.
Humbert’s show probably will feature songs from his latest album, “Old Souls, New Shoes.” His music has been called a blend of roots-rock, Americana and traditional country sounds.
