The Repository Battle of the Bands

The Repository Battle of the Bands to be held Saturday, March 6 and is Stark County’s largest rock and roll competition featuring local high school talent. The event is sponsored by Westfield Belden Village, along with Fisher Foods, McDonalds, Horizon Audio and Sluggers & Putters. Now in its seventh year, the consert is made possible through the support of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and draws more than 1,200 audience members to watch bands compete on the stage of Canton’s historic Palace Theatre. Bands are composed of high school students from Stark County schools. The public is invited to attend The Repository Battle of the Bands, Saturday, March 6 at the Canton Palace Theatre, located at 605 Market Ave. North in Canton. Doors open 6:00 p.m. and the concert begins 7:00 p.m. Admission is $8. Pre-sale tickets will be available at Westfield Belden Village beginning February 12 (M-F 8-5pm). Tickets are also available at the show ($4 Palace surcharge applies with credit card ticket purchases.)
