Reptile Show at Malone University

The Malone University men’s soccer program is hosting a reptile show on Saturday, March 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Timken Science Hall on the Canton campus. The event is the team’s spring fund raising campaign with a percentage of the proceeds going directly to the Masters Home of Champions, an orphanage located in Liberia, West Africa.

The Reptile Show will feature hundreds of boas, pythons, and other reptiles, including flashlight tours and hands-on experiences. Experienced Malone University staff will guide participants through a tour of the University’s reptile collection and will speak on the conservation, behavior, physiology, and natural history of boas and pythons. Admission is $4.00 per person; additional donations are greatly appreciated. There will also be an opportunity to get your picture taken digitally (picture will be immediately emailed to you) with a snake of your choice for an additional fee, ranging from $5 to $25. Contact Chris Carmichael, Ph.D., at ccarmichael@malone.edu or 330-471-8175 for more information.
