Rubber City Rollergirls bout

The Rubber City Rollergirls, the team of Akron’s premier women’s flat-track roller derby league, will skate against the Circle City Socialites at 6 p.m. July 25 at the John S. Knight Center.
Tickets are $8.50 for adults, $5 for ages 12 and under in advance and $12.50 for adults, $6 for ages 12 and under at the door. Groups of 20 or more adults get $1 off per ticket. Fans may donate gently used children’s clothing at the door for the Rollergirls School Clothing Drive for Project RISE. For each person who donates at least one item, the Rubber City Rollergirls will donate $1 to Project RISE.
The Knight Center is at 77 E. Mill St. in Akron. Doors open at 5 p.m.
An after party will be held at the Ohio Brewing Company at 222 S. Main St.
Other home dates are April 18, May 9, June 20 and Aug. 22.
