St. John’s Villa dinner and auction fundraiser

St. John’s Villa of Carrollton will hold its 13th annual dinner and auction fundraiser, “Giving Hearts Make for a Brighter Future, at 5:30 p.m. March 13. The event will take place at St. John the Baptist Church Parish Hall at 627 McKinley Ave. NW in Canton.
There also will be a drawing for prizes of $500, $250 and $100. Tickets for the drawing are one for $25 or five for $100. Winner need not be present.
Cost for the dinner and auction is $50 per person.
Proceeds will be used to continue the programs of St. John’s Villa, which provides Christian loving care, guidance and work programs to 55 adult residents, plus day services for 10 people from the community, diagnosed with mental retardation/developmental disabilities.
In 1991, the villa operation was incorporated, with a lay board of trustees, under the general leadership of the Diocese of Steubenville.
