VeggieTale Composer to Appear at Malone University

From the people who brought you The Yodeling Veterinarian of the Alps and The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything, VeggieTales composer Kurt Heinecke will present a series of workshop sessions at Malone University Tuesday, March 23, throughout the day in the Memorial Chapel of the Johnson Center for Worship and the Fine Arts, located at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton. The workshops – focusing on film scoring using Logic Studio software -- are being hosted by the Malone University music production program and 25th Street Productions. Special guest Heinecke will direct sessions in matching music to film, adjusting timing, theme development, live orchestra vs computer, working with the director, and other elements of professional film work in music.

The annual music production recital will follow at 4 p.m., featuring student and faculty projects in music production, sound for video, professional CD releases, songwriting, and artist development.
