Verdi opera to be transmitted live to Tinseltown

Placido Domingo has the title role in the Metropolitan Opera’s production of Verdi’s “Simon Boccanegra,” which will be transmitted live from New York City via satellite in HD at 1 p.m. Feb. 6 to Tinseltown USA in Jackson Township.
The cast also includes Adrianne Pieczonka, Marcello Giordani and James Morris.
Tickets, on sale at the Tinseltown box office, are $24 for ages 12 and older, $22 for seniors 62 and older, and $16 for 11 and younger.
