Menopause support group

Bashaw & Associates Counseling & Wellness Center is offering a support group for women who are experiencing menopause. The group meets every Tuesday, May 5 through July 7, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the counseling/wellness practice at 5590 Lauby Rd., Suite 3, in Green (near the Akron Canton Airport).
The group meetings will offer encouragement, fun and opportunities to redefine and recharge the body, mind and spirit throughout this midlife event.
Ms. Bashaw, MSSA, LISW-S, is the owner/therapist of the counseling and wellness center.
She received her degree from Case Western Reserve University and has operated her business for more than 12 years. She also is an adjunct professor of social work at the University of Akron.
Reservations are required. A fee will be charged. Most insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid, are accepted.
